Rachel Sub Rosa

I'm 24 and I'm a student. I've finished a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners in 2006, I passed with distinction, so I'm really pleased about that. I'm at Portsmouth Uni where I'm doing a degree in Software Engineering.

I'm into most types of music, except rap, rnb and pop. I play computer games a lot, it's a fun way of passing time and some games are great for stress relief. I also like to read a lot, my room is full so of books I have to stack some in piles as I don't have the shelf space. I've tried writing a book but have never finished one, I've written a lot of poetry though. I also like art and drawing, I'll put up a gallery of some sketches I've done when I get a round to it.

I like kitties too, I have four of them. They can be annoying sometimes, but they're so cute.

I'm allways looking for new music and have an email address for the purposes of receiving mp3s and other types of music files. The address is thempeasthree@gmail.com so if you have something that I might not have heard or I might like, just send it to me.

As an aside: In ancient myth, the Egyption god Horus came upon Venus engaged in one of her many love affairs. Cupid, her son, gave Horus a rose as a bribe to keep quiet, thus Horus became the god of silence, and the rose a symbol of confidenitality. A rose hanging over a council table indicated that all present were sworn to secrecy. Sub Rosa ('under the rose') has come to mean 'that which is carried out in secret'. So, I've decided to add 'sub rosa' to entries that aren't to be discussed with anyone not on my friends list.
